Gym

I went to the gym tonight. I spent 45mins on the treadmill and didn't crap out. Very pleased with myself. But mind you I didn't do any running. I did a very fast walk. I won't start running until I've built my cardio back up; so about another week or two. =]
I used to be good at running. Well, running short distances. But not anymore since I haven't had a decent run since about 9th grade. I've turned to Jello since then and my cardio is basicly non-existent. I tried doing a slow jog last week for a lap(1/4mile), but I crapped out halfway through the lap.

Today I did the Alpine Pass exercise. Meaning that the max incline was 6.5 & max speed was 3.5mph. Tomorrow I might go for 50mins with 7incline and still 3.5mph.
I like the Alpine Pass. It simulates as though you're actually walking/running up a hill or something. All the highs and lows. It's nice. =]

After the treadmill, I did 50 arm presses and then 50 Leg presses. Then I went home.
I can't do many leg presses at once because it puts a lot of strain on my knees and I have bad knees. I tried to do the Stairclimber, but I can't because the impact on my knees is too great. So I stay with the treadmill.
Though I do believe that the Stairclimber will tone my ass. So I will try to do it tomorrow.


The stomach needs to go as well. But, in my small apt. complex gym, the only way for that is Sit ups. I will start having to do them if I want the stomach fat to go bye bye. =]
I couldn't do them at first because putting my hands behind my head to help sit up hurt. I tried out a machine and it hurt my arms. Which meant that I couldn't properly put them behind my head. Or even outstretch them that much. Just bending my arms to put my bra on hurt.
But my arms no longer hurt. So I will start trying to do sit-ups tomorrow.
